VpCI®-386 FR (Fire Retardant) Top Coat
Description:A coating which passes ASTM D-3806-79 fire retardant test and provides
corrosion protection. The film thickness of fire retardant coatings needs to be at least 4 mils dry in order to deny fuel through the formation of char. VpCI®-386 FR dries to a dull white finish and is very thixotropic allowing a thicker film to be applied without sagging.

VpCI®-396 Moisture-Cured Urethane Prime
Description: VpCI-396 is a high solids, aromatic moisture cured urethane for use on marginally prepared structural steel. VpCI-396 is a direct to metal primer for multimetal protection. For indoor, or sheltered outdoor applications, VpCI-396 can be used as a single coating system. For outdoor application with high UV exposure, VpCI-396 should be top coated with aliphatic urethane top coat for best results. In addition to the outstanding barrier protection, VpCI-396 also contains Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors for additional protection. VpCI-396 is suitable for immersed structure when applied over CorrVerter® for marginally prepared surfaces i.e. ballast tanks or ships.

 Description: Water-based primer recommended for application to rusty or poorly prepared steel surfaces where further corrosion protection is required and good surface preparation is difficult to achieve. VpCI CorrVerter is formulated to penetrate rust, eliminate rust, penetrate to the bare metal, and stop further rusting.
